CAD (Computer-aided design) and BIM (Building Information Modeling) are programs created for the process of construction. Both are very useful tools for the architects in the area of project design. However, there are notable differences between them. CAD is a tool of design where it is possible to draw architectural projects and in digital way, its essence is more artistic. While BIM is a tool that offers more information of the construction process, it is more useful for the structural calculations and is very complete.
